I've been painting for a good part of my life now but I still feel like an amateur at best. There is so much more to try, and to learn, and to perfect. Knowing that the quest will never end is both an exciting and humbling realization. I taught myself how to paint on egg shells 15 years ago and keep adding to my collection of high-detail eggcraft mostly on chicken egg shells. Painting on small surfaces fascinates me. I dabble in acrylics, am teaching myself watercolors and am still in awe of oils. I'm so glad there are sites like FAA which bring us artists together so that we can be inspired by each other and all the great talent out there. Thanks very much for stopping by.

How lovely Elizabeth! I was just introduced to your fabulous artwork by Jerry. What a wonderful way to remember your scenic train travels across the Scottish countryside. A mode of transportation I have not experienced. I love the feel you give of looking over the fence at this autumn day. Well done! LF Janet 💕
Elizabeth Mundaden replied:
If you ever visit Scotland take the train along the western highlands. The scenery is to die for. A sharp contrast to the kind of beauty Arizona offers but beautiful nonetheless. Thank you for your compliments Janet.

Very nice!

Thank you Jeff

I wish I knew more about your time in Scotland, Elizabeth. Where you lived while there, how long? There are other FAA artists I know that have a connection to Scotland. I am a tennis fan and follow Andy Murray who just won the Davis Cup for the UK. Our grasses here in Arizona are now dried as our winter has now arrived. There is something about this that just draws me in.................FAV / LIKE
Elizabeth Mundaden replied:
I lived in stunning Scotland for 3 years when I went to study my masters and briefly worked thereafter. While I spent my time in grey Glasgow I often came across meadows dotted with sheep and glorious mountains in the background. Scotland is certainly one of those postcard countries. I miss it.
